Edward C. LaRose was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, in 1977. He attended Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and graduated fifth in his class in 1995. He moved to Knoxville in 1997, and in 2006 he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Cellular, and Molecular Biology.

Edward has been employed at Luedeka, Neely, & Graham since 2002, starting out as an office assistant and computer technology advisor. Upon his graduation from UT, he began preparations to become a registered patent agent, and recently he took and passed the USPTO registration examination.

Edward’s principal areas of interest are biochemistry, organic chemistry, and computer science. While at UT, he participated in an undergraduate research project in which he designed and conducted an experiment for the extraction and analysis of metal-binding proteins from plant roots.

When not at work, Edward enjoys spending time with his wife, Natalie, and their three children. He also enjoys hiking, camping, live music, and working on home improvement projects.
