Mark S. Graham was born in Toccoa, Georgia in 1955. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1981 with a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering. He received his J.D. degree with honors in 1985 from the University of Tennessee.

He joined the firm as a law clerk while attending law school in 1983. He became an associate in 1985 and a corporate officer in 1989. The focus of Mark's practice is patent, trademark and copyright litigation. He also maintains an active domestic and international patent application preparation, prosecution, and general counseling practice in the chemical, chemical process and mechanical arts, as well as a substantial trademark prosecution docket. Specific technology areas include papermaking, material science, pharmaceuticals, natural/synthetic resins, textiles, plastics, films and coatings, environmental remediation and petroleum processes, and medical technologies and products.

Mark is a member of the State Bar of Tennessee, is admitted to several federal district courts, the Fourth and Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the Hamilton Burnett Inns of Court and is registered to practice before the Patent and Trademark Office.

A frequent lecturer and speaker on various intellectual property issues, Mr. Graham also provides expert witness services to parties involved in intellectual property disputes.
