Litigation
Luedeka, Neely and Graham, PC handles intellectual property litigation exclusively. Such litigation includes patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition and trade secrets lawsuits. The firm litigates primarily in federal courts, because the federal courts have exclusive jurisdiction over patent and copyright litigation. However, the firm does litigate in state courts in matters involving such things as trademarks, unfair competition, and contract matters (e.g. licenses) involving intellectual property.
Although most of the firm's litigation clients are from the Knoxville region, it has also taken the lead role in litigation representing clients from Asia, Europe and South America, including clients from China, Brazil, England, Germany, and the Netherlands. Luedeka, Neely and Graham is also active in alternative dispute resolution including licensing negotiations, mediation and arbitration. In recent years numerous disputes handled by the firm have been successfully resolved by these techniques.
